چکیده
The worldwide prevalence of obesity and associated metabolic syndrome (MetS) has increased threefold over the last five decades. Among children, this trend is alarming due to premature onset MetS. data regarding how structure composition gastrointestinal (GIT) microbiota either promote or attenuate MetS are limited. Objectives: We carried out study investigate relationship between microbial profiles diagnosis among children with obesity. Fifty subjects a Mets were enrolled. collected clinical information, demographic data, dietary records, stool specimens. Overall, there was no significant difference in diversity GIT two subgroups also found differences sexes blood pressure categories. However, we observed structure, composition, gut microbiome when stratified using BMI cut-off 30. Subjects ≥ 30 had lower abundance Bacteroidetes greater Actinobacteria Firmicutes compared those value less than This signature more like profile adults may represent accelerated changes children. Additional studies needed role maturation morbid
